Like the scent of opening a vintage magazine. Vancouver-based Oak Arrow started as a photographer, but editing photos quickly proved too uninspired for someone envisioning a utopia unknown. A craving for surrealism took over, while an obsession with the limitlessness of a collage art style ensued. Oak+Arrow has a gift for layering science fiction with reality (including magazine advertisements from the 70s, 80s, and 90s). Don’t question it - simply give in to the pleasures of fantasy.
